Baby Timo – Newborn Photography in Durham Region

Not too long ago in 2016 I met this lovely family when they brought their daughter in for her newborn session. Umi was this gorgeous chubby baby girl and I had a fabulous time talking to her parents; hearing all about how they met, Mom coming to Canada, and their journey to that point. I was so excited when I got an email a few weeks ago saying that they were expecting a baby boy and would like to bring him back to the studio for his own newborn session.

Timo is equally as adorable as his big sister was, and I had an amazing time photographing him along with the rest of his family.

At first this little fellow wasn’t too keen on the idea of sleeping. Fine by me, I wanted to capture those beautiful eyes! Of course eventually he gave in the the swaddle. They always give in to the swaddle 😉 It is so warm in the studio that between the rocking, swaddle and a few other tricks I have up my sleeve they almost always give in!

Mom had ordered a few cute props of her own from Etsy, so of course we had to use them in his session. Doesn’t he look adorable?!
