Stressed or nervous about having newborn photos done? Don't be! I have photographed hundreds (thousands?!) of babies and have lots of little tricks to get your sweet baby to relax and nod off. Get in touch and we can chat about all of the details - from times, dates, props, poses and colours, I've got you covered!
THE NEWBORN EXPERIENCE
Newborn sessions take place in my cozy home studio in Pickering. It is kept warm and toasty so that your little one will be comfy cozy. The fabulous prop room is open to clients so that we can customize your session to your tastes. After that you get to kick back and watch the magic ;)
AFTER THE SESSION
You will receive a gorgeous gallery of images to select from. Once you have made your selections I get to work perfecting each and every one so that you have incredible images to remind you just how perfect your newborn was!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best age for newborn photos?
Ideally newborn sessions take place when the baby is 5 - 14 days old. At this time they are generally quite sleepy and still have the fresh "curled" appearance. If you have missed this window please don't stress, older babies can be accommodated as well.
What if my baby won't sleep?
Babies LOVE to make liars of their parents ;) Often it is the baby who is fussiest at home that comes in and sleeps wonderfully. If not I have over 10 years of experience working with newborns and have learned a TON of tricks to get them to cooperate. I have yet to meet a baby I couldn't win over!
Do I need to supply my own props/outfits?
Not at all! Parents are always welcome to bring along anything they would like incorporated into their images, however there are tons of adorable props available in the studio's prop room.
Where will the session take place?
All newborn sessions take place at the cozy studio in Pickering, just off the 401 and Whites Rd. This ensures that we have full control over lighting and temperature (it has to be toasty warm for baby's comfort!) as well as allowing access to a variety of backdrops and props.

Having had little ones of my own I completely understand the stress and exhaustion that comes along with being a new parent.
