Baby Asher – Whitby Newborn Photographer

I had such a fabulous time creating these gorgeous newborn portraits for Asher and his family! I first met them when they brought their first born, Avalynn, for her newborn session. Fast forward 2 years and here we are again, this time with a baby boy, Asher.

He was perfection for his newborn session. Seriously, perfection. What does big sister think of this new fellow in her life? She is OBESSSED with her baby brother. ? This girl was only happy if her baby brother was in her arms. She watched me like a hawk when I had him, and cried every time her turn holding his was done. I don’t think there are going to be any worries about these two getting along, she is completely smitten! (and from the look on his face I would say he’s in love too)

Asher was born on Canada Day, so we did a few Canada Day inspired portraits, including having big sister wear her Canada Day shirt! I feel like this has to be the best possible birthday you could have. First off, summer birthdays rock. I always wished I could have a summer birthday so we could do outdoor parties, barbecues, pool parties, etc. Second, it will be a holiday EVERY year. Never having to work on your birthday would be fabulous. Third, fireworks!! My friend’s daughter has a July 1st birthday as well and she is convinced that the fireworks are for her. ?

My cozy studio is located in Pickering and serves the Durham Region including Whitby, Ajax, Oshawa and Pickering as well as Toronto and the GTA.

For best results I recommend bringing your baby within the first 2 weeks after they are born. During this time they are quite sleepy and happy to be moved around and posed. That said, I am always happy to accommodate older newborns so if you have missed this window please reach out anyway.
