Baby Blake – Toronto Area Newborn Photographer

This spring has felt like a baby boom among my family and friends and I am LOVING it!

Blake’s Mom and I have known each other for as long as I can remember, and our families were friends’ before any of us kids were born. We grew up going to cottages and playing on the beach together and Lyndsay was always that nice one that let my little sister and I tag along even though she was far closer in age to my older sister, and we were honestly probably pretty annoying to them 😉

I had the pleasure of watching her walk down the aisle and marry this kind, funny and handsome man (who by the way, ALL of my friends had a crush on in high school 😉 ) in the most beautiful wedding I have ever witnessed. Everything about that day was perfect. It was gorgeous – not hot, not cold, not windy, just beautiful. They were married on the bluffs at a golf club, overlooking the lake as a harpist played softly. It was honestly like something out of a movie.

Then along came Cole. Their sweet, smart first born. He came in for his newborn session, and has come to see me a few times since. He is going to be an amazing big brother to this new little addition to their family!

And now, welcome Blake! This gorgeous little girl made us WORK at her session, but my goodness these photos make it all worth it! She is perfection.

Check out her stunning baby blues! I feel like the look on her face in this one sums up how she felt about the process pretty well ? She did fall back asleep pretty quickly though. She loved that wrap!

Could this little girl possibly be any sweeter?! I honestly could have played with her all day. So snugly and fresh!

We spent quite a bit of time gentle coaxing her into this position. She wasn’t mad or upset, just quietly protesting by moving her head and hands back each time I *thought* we had it.  This quiet persistence will serve her well later in life I am sure. ? I feel like this image made it 100% worth the effort though, she looks divine!

Thank you so much to Mama for bringing her in! I am so thankful to have been able to capture these for you, and I hope she will love looking back on them when she is older as much as my little girl loves to look back on hers!
