Baby Arielle – Scarborough Newborn Photographer

You might remember this lovely couple from their maternity session blog post just a couples of weeks ago. At that point Mama was just a very short time away from delivering Arielle, making them a family of three.

They were back over the weekend to have her newborn portraits created, and at just a week old Arielle is just perfect. She is a tiny peanut at all of 5lbs, 10oz and she was so content and laid back for her session, just hanging out and taking it all in. We actually had to work a little bit at the end to convince her to wake up (usually it is the opposite) so that we could capture her gorgeous eyes. They are massive and she totally looks like a little Disney princess 😉

Mom had seen this gorgeous floral set up from another session that I did and loved it, so we customized it a bit and recreated a similar look for Arielle. Love the way it came out! (If you would love something like this for your baby get in touch for more info or to book your appointment!)

Even as sleep deprived new parents these two are a blast to be around! We were cracking up and having a great time through out the appointment. A pleasure to work with such wonderful clients.

Arielle protested a wee bit when it came to this pose, but I am so glad she gave in and let us capture it. She looks absolutely regal in her pearl headband. ?

Mom and Dad brought this sweet headband from home. It happened to coordinate with this backdrop perfectly. It is always fun to incorporate personal items into the images!

Check out that adorable face! It took us a bit to get her to wake up after being so warm and cozy throughout her session, but once she was up Arielle was fully alert and taking everything in. Aren’t her eyes amazing?!

Thank you so much to Mom and Dad for trusting me to document your journey into parenthood. I have had a fabulous time getting to know all of you and hope to see you again as your daughter grows!
