Baby Theodore – Pickering Newborn Photographer

Oh my goodness, the squishy goodness of this (not so) little boy! I had such a lovely time cuddling him and posing him for his portraits.

My own daughter was a big girl at 9lbs 12oz, but even my jaw dropped when Mama told me that Theo was born at 10lbs 8oz! He was also 23″ long, so I have a feeling he will be a big guy as he grows. I absolutely love chubby babies, I mean look at those adorable back rolls! I could eat him up!

For a brief while he decided he didn’t want to miss out and refused to go back to sleep. We figured we would try swaddling him and see if we could capture those gorgeous baby blues – so glad we did!

Being that he was only a week old, Theodore LOVED this “womb” pose. I have always been a fan of this one as it shows how they were tucked up when they were still in Mama’s tummy. They are so flexible and love to be curled up at this age!
