Pickering Mother’s Day Mini Session – Laura & Clara

Laura & Clara – Pickering Mother’s Day Mini Session

Still on the fence about doing a session for Mother’s Day? Check out this gorgeous session with Laura and Clara!

Laura was a little hesitant about coming in to model this set for me. Life after having a baby is rough – EVERYTHING changes, and most of us aren’t feeling at our best during that first year or so postpartum. Honestly though, she looks amazing and I am willing to bet that she will be so glad she has these portraits of herself with her baby girl. Childhood goes so quickly, babyhood even quicker – you will never regret having portraits done, but there is a good chance you will regret NOT having them done. So while I hate to be pushy and I am just not a “salesy” type person, I am pushing this one because I really, truly believe that all Mom’s should have a gorgeous portrait of themselves with their baby or babies, regardless of their age.

There are only a few spots left, so if this helps you to realize that you NEED to have these pictures get in touch at info@annyamillerphotography.com to reserve your spot 😉

Clara has SO MUCH PERSONALITY! Oh my gosh she had me laughing throughout this session. Her little tongue in perpetual motion, dancing, bobbing her head and making silly faces at her Momma. She is honestly just a complete and total ham and I love it! (Also in love with those thighs. Her rolls are delicious! ?)

At one point while I was photographing Clara, Laura started singing to try to make her smile. Now I need to just take a moment to say that this woman has a BEAUTIFUL voice! She and I actually got to know each other while we were both learning the role of Eponine in our high school musical, and she has gone on to continue using that gorgeous voice. Anyway, Laura starts singing and Clara loses it! Her whole body went wild, wiggling and dancing with delight. It was just adorable! She clearly agrees that her Mama is awesome, and so is her singing!

This tongue ?! I think little Miss is working on some teeth, because that little tongue was all over the place. Just too cute.

Laura received this mug as a gift from her wonderful husband for Christmas last year. Kind of perfect that the colour matches her outfit and it says “Best Mom Ever” right? Love that it adds a bit of a personal touch to their photoshoot – and Clara loved checking inside over and over ?

Thanks to Laura and Clara for a fun afternoon and fabulous photo shoot, and for demonstrating that it CAN be fun to get in front of the camera and have your love and silliness captured. I can’t wait to give you the rest of your beautiful images!

Mama if you are still debating please give me a call (647 272 5450) and we can chat about any fears, pain points or whatever else is holding you back from having gorgeous portraits created of you and your Littles. Trust me, both you and your children will thank you in 5 or 10 years when you have these portraits to look back on. The narrative will flip, and you will both see the joy and the love that you shared, instead of any insecurities that you may have.

(P.S. I am normally not “salesy” or pushy, I am just pushing this a little bit because I TRULY believe it is something that every mother should have!)
