Baby Raeya – Pickering 1st Birthday Photographer

This little cupcake was just the cutest! We had to work super hard to get her to smile, but that smile is SO worth it. Also Mom might have been the best smile getting assistant I have ever seen! Sometimes babies think I’m funny, other times (such as this occasion) they look at my like I am nuts/terrifying – so it is great when their parent is willing to jump in and help me out.

See what I mean?! Totally worth the antics to get that gorgeous smile out of her.

Sweet little Raeya wasn’t 100% sure she was ok with getting cake and icing all over her hands, but was more than willing to get into it once we gave her a spoon. It is always fun to see how the babies react to the cake smash portion of a 1st birthday photoshoot. The reactions vary pretty dramatically and are pretty cute no matter which way they go.

Thanks so much to Mom for bringing Raeya in for me to photograph, she was a fabulous little model!
