Baby Claire – Newborn Photographer Near Me

Claire was a complete and total joy to work with. She was so happy to sleep, snuggle and pose for my camera. Her Mom and Dad were equally amazing, full of love and happiness, and tons of laughter. At the beginning of the session I was asked if I ever get those shots where baby is peeing on their parents – YES I do, all the time, haha. They thought would be super entertaining. Claire delivered for her parents by peeing RIGHT down Mama’s shirt. I have to hand it to her though, she posed pee and all so I could get the shot – like a true pro 😉

Claire Angelica Jane. Isn’t that such a perfect name for this gorgeous 6 pound peanut? Mom and Dad told me how they struggled with naming her. It took a few days to settle on the perfect name. I can completely relate. My first born (Peyton) was nameless for almost a week! I went into the hospital with 3 names, thinking that when I met him the right name would become obvious. Nope. Not the case. I looked at him and in all of his perfection he just looked like a squishy old man and didn’t suit any of the names I had chosen! I got there eventually, as did they, and I’m sure our babies didn’t mind being nameless for a few days 😉

I absolutely love these wrapped images where her teeny tiny toes are peeking out. Babies have the sweetest little feet and toes!

I am sure that they were exhausted, what new parent isn’t? However they look amazing, so full of joy, and I am so happy to have been a part of their journey, and to have had the privilege of documenting this time for them! I wasn’t sure she would “go for” this sweet little pose since she seemed to prefer being on her tummy, but it was the end of the session and we figured why not. She shocked me and snuggled right in to this soft rug, staying perfect curled while I photographed her.
