Sienna’s cake smash was an absolute BLAST. Sometimes babies (especially ones who were born just before or during Covid times) can be a bit apprehensive about the whole process, but not Sienna. This girl loved every single part of her cake smash, from the attention and smiles for the camera, to the cake to the bubble bath at the end.

Her talented Mama created this beautiful set and I was SO impressed with how well it all came together. Definitely some creative and crafty genes there 🙂 This set will now be added as an option for future cake smashes as well and makes for a gorgeous but simple set that allows the focus to remain on baby.

Seriously, is she not just the cutest?! Look at that smile! ?

Little lady was all about the cake and was completely happy to sit there and try it out. Sometimes babies can be apprehensive about the icing on their hands or the new texture in their mouth, so its not a bad idea to let them try smashing a cupcake prior to their appointment to help them get their head around the deliciousness and mess.

Not an issue with this one though ? Sienna pretty well obliterated her gorgeous cake!

And of course we had a lovely bubble bath ready so she could splash, play, smile and get cleaned off. Babies almost always LOVE this part of the session and of course whenever they are happy, we are happy too because photographers and parents alike love the smiles!
