Love, Light & Chaos – Durham Region Family Photographer

I generally don’t photograph larger family groups. Social anxiety and I are best pals and while I am fine one on one or with a few people I get seriously nervous working with large groups.

BUT when my amazing sister in law who is all about self love, growth and empowerment told me her sister was in town from the other side of the country and they wanted to do a family portrait – how could I say no?! So glad I didn’t, as this session was a complete blast. A hot mess of kids running everywhere, laughing and yelling “Yoshi!” (Still don’t know why they were yelling Yoshi, clearly they are more hip than than I ?????), and these beautiful strong women responsible for raising them up.

The whole crew complete with a crate to keep the little man in 😉 He was having WAY too much fun dancing – so adorable. I wanted to kiss those little cheeks! This was a morning full of chaos, laughter and joy – I love it. These are some LOVED children and you can tell that they feel it, they are so happy.

And of course one of the original 3. 3 gorgeous, strong and incredible women, raising all of these beautiful children.
