Alice – Durham Region Children’s Photographer

This adorable little lady and her family have been coming to see me for a few years now, doing a portrait session each year for her birthday. I always enjoy seeing them, catching up and hearing about their latest adventures. This family always seems to be on the move, living part of the year in Abu Dhabi, part in Canada, and visiting other place between. At this session I was super fascinated to learn about how the use salt to condense clouds over the city in Abu Dhabi and force it to rain – how cool is that?!

Alice was in a fabulous mood for her portraits. Mom and Dad brought in a few of her favourite things from home as well as some birthday balloons and she was happy to play with them and smile at my camera. I think her favourite part of the appointment was popping all of the balloons. I must admit I panicked a bit when she popped the first one, thinking it would scare her and that might be the end of the appointment, but she thought it was hilarious and popped the rest in quick succession.
