Elise is ONE! – Durham Region Cake Smash

This is a little bit of a belated share, but things get a bit crazy in December so these never made it to the blog. My little Ellie turned ONE in December though, and we celebrated with this sweet cake smash session at the studio. I still can`t believe that an entire year has passed since she completed our family. People tell you how quick it goes, but you can never really grasp it until that year is gone – and I swear it goes faster with each child you add!

This little lady how grown so much. Watching her run around and get into everything these days it is hard to even imagine her as that adorable sweet ball of squish that she was just a few months ago.

She is silly and sweet and has honestly captured every single heart in the house. Just this morning she was sleeping on me and her brother Peyton came up and whispered in her ear “I love you SO much baby Elise”.

When planning her cake smash I was a little bit worried as it is a one shot deal and her brother wanted NOTHING to do with his. She was the complete opposite. The cake must have been delicious because my biggest struggle was getting her to look away from her cake long enough to catch a smile 😉

Here’s to another beautiful year watching this little love of ours grow!
