Baby Alice – Durham First Birthday Photos

Baby Alice is ONE! A whole year gone by and I was so honored to capture her first birthday photos, on her first birthday. The first year is such a big milestone in my mind. So much happens in their little lives during that first year, and the lives of the parents as well. I remember both of my children’s first birthdays and it felt like an accomplishment and a relief, mixed with a lot of “where did that year go?!”

Alice and I got together last year around this time to do her newborn portraits, and it was amazing to see her again, and to catch up with her parents after their first year of parenthood. She LOVED her balloons, and presents and was just full of huge smiles for this first birthday photo shoot!

Isn’t she adorable? She really did seem to enjoy all of the attention and modelling for her portraits!
