Baby Olivia – Durham Baby Photography

I adored this little princess. She was laid back, happy and even had a little nap so we could take some sleeping portraits. Typically newborn sessions are done between 5-14 days after birth. This little lady was 6 weeks at her appointment, but she rocked it anyway!

Something about her expression is just so sweet! Love her in this pretty pale pink.

At first Olivia wasn’t 100% on board with being wrapped up, I mean she has been “free” for 6 weeks now. She quickly settled in though and decided is was a perfectly comfortable way to get cozy and take a nap. We were actually trying to get her to look at us in this pose, but she decided sleeping was a better idea!

Mom said she tends to sleep with her hands up by her face, so I wanted to capture this more natural (less posed) portrait of her. I love how it turned out.

Thanks so much to Mom and Auntie for bringing her in! Lots of love surrounding this wee peanut – both in human and animal form!
