Baby Xander was welcomed by 2 older siblings – both of which were completely in love by the time we did his newborn session ?? Honestly, getting to watch siblings with their new baby is one of the most wonderful things in life. They love so openly and freely. I think many times it is the first love of that kind that they have ever experienced!

This sweet little guy was so happy and calm all swaddled up in his wrap and the warmth of the studio. They just love that warm and cozy feel. I think it reminds them of being back in their Mom’s tummy.

How sweet are these two snuggling their new baby brother?!?! The cute factor is off the charts!

I love when we manage to capture a smirk or smile in their newborn photos. It is the sweetest thing! Pro tip – if you are trying to capture a smile wait until they are just falling asleep and slipping into a dream. When their eyes start moving around under their eye lids, or fluttering and their breathing speeds up a bit, this is the time to get your camera ready and wait because a smile often follows!

No doubt in my mind this baby is going to grow up being so loved! Thank you to the whole family for a wonderful session and for trusting me to create Xander’s first photos!
