This job truly is magical. Despite any trials and tribulations a couple or family may go through to get to this point, I generally am meeting them at one of the happiest times in their life and get to bask in that magical glow with them.

in Aria’s case she had not just a Mom and Dad that were waiting excitedly to meet her, but a big brother who was absolutely pining for her ??

After having the opportunity to meet and get to know this family at their gorgeous maternity session, I was SO excited to meet their new addition and create beautiful newborn photos to document this happy time for them.

Baby girl was WIDE awake for most of the session, she apparently had major FOMO and zero interest in sleeping.

That’s ok though – sleeping or awake she is a beauty and we got gorgeous photos to capture how sweet and tiny she was at just a couple of weeks old.

Her brother did an absolutely amazing job of snuggling and cuddling his baby sister for the photos as well. It can be intimidating for siblings to pose with their new baby, but he rocked it. You can just feel the love he has for her bleeding through the images!

I loved how this sweet angle perfection showed off her little face, safe and sound in his arms.

Hopefully Aria grows up seeing this image and understanding just how much love her family has for her. I know my daughter especially loves seeing photos of her as a baby, seeing how tiny she was and how happy we all were when she arrived. This photo in particular captures that joy for me – seeing all of their faces as they gaze at her adoringly just about sums it up!

Thank you to the whole family for letting me share in your joy and your journey. Thank you for putting your faith in me to document this experience for you. Can’t wait to see you again as she grows!!
