Baby Violet – Ajax Newborn Photographer

Violet’s Daddy bought this newborn session as a Mother’s Day gift for her Mama’s first Mother’s Day. How sweet is that?! I honestly can’t think of a more perfect Mother’s Day gift than to have memories created of your new baby. My favorite Mother’s Day gift from my husband was a photo shoot that we had done of my children and me a couple of years ago. The beautiful canvases I had created from the images still hang on the walls of their bedroom and we all enjoy seeing them every day. My babies love seeing what they looked like when they were smaller, and how we laughed and played that day.

Violet was perfection for her session. She slept, ate, hung out and took it all in. We were at the end of the session when we got to this gorgeous set up with the mint bucket and cherry blossoms, and much to my disappointment she decided to wake up hungry the second I placed her in the bucket. Thankfully her super patient Mama was willing to feed her and hang out while I put her back to sleep so we could get the image. Totally worth it, don’t you think?

She had just a tiny bit of awake time right at the beginning of the session so we took advantage and got some super sweet images of her hanging out, making faces and taking in all of what was happening around her. So bright and alert!

This sweet little peanut is signed up for the Baby Steps program which will follow her first year with baby milestone sessions at 4 months, 8 months and 1 year. This is one of my favourite packages and I always get so excited when my clients sign their babies up for it because there really is nothing more joyful than watching these sweet newborns grow and develop their adorable and unique personalities. I am so excited to see who this little lady becomes over the next year!
