Baby Charlotte – Toronto Area Newborn Photographer
This session was a lovely surprise and total blast from the past. I didn’t realize it while booking the appointment (married names are tricky!) but when Mom and Dad showed up with their gorgeous baby girl for her newborn session, I quickly realized that I knew them from high school. It was great to hear what they had been up to, and catch up on where other friends and acquaintances have ended up.
Charlotte is feisty, strong and as sweet as can be. She loved being all wrapped up, snug and cozy in the swaddle blanket, and once she fell into that beautiful deep sleep she allowed us to get so super sweet posed portraits as well.
I love all of the beautiful soft colours and tones that Mom and Dad preferred for their session. It will be timeless over the years as she grows and looks back at her baby pictures!
Baby toes are the cutest. Honestly… the cutest.
I had lost touch with these two over the years, but it was really fun to hear that they have been together basically since high school! How amazing to have all of these years of love and growth together under your belt before starting on your journey of parenthood. They are going to be amazing role models and parents to this little lady.
Thank you so much to Mom and Dad for choosing me to create Charlotte’s newborn portraits! I had a fabulous time hanging out with you and snuggling your beautiful girl and hope to see you again as she grows!
If you are looking for a Toronto Area newborn photographer you may want to check out this handy guide to selecting a newborn photographer. I am also happy to chat with you personally and answer any questions you might have. This niche has been my specialty for over 10 years, and I have dealt with all sorts of situations and hundreds of babies all with unique personalities.
For best results newborn sessions should be booked for within 5 – 14 days from the time your little one is born. For this reason I recommend booking your appointment prior to your baby’s arrival to ensure availability in the schedule. (We can always change it if they are early or late!) If you have missed this window but would still like to have portraits of your little one created please get in touch as I will always do my best to accommodate last minute requests and while it requires a bit more skill and patience, “older” newborns can still have beautiful sessions!
